Welcome to the New York State Department of Transportation’s interactive safety websites. Currently, we offer an interactive experience covering the three topics of safe summer driving, safe winter driving and how to safely navigate through a construction work zone.

In the summer driving experience, measure your knowledge behind the wheel by taking our interactive quiz, learn how to handle skids, print out a listing on how to prepare your vehicle for the season and then listen to a construction worker tell her story about working on the roadway on construction worker cam. We also have a winter version, so you will be ready to drive in all seasons.

The work zone safety experience uses video game technology to teach you the do’s and don’ts of driving through construction zones. Take an interactive quiz to test your knowledge of road signs. Can you drive like a winner?
